Embedded Surveys
Embedded surveys, implemented via flexible iframes, are integrated directly into the content of a website—such as within an article, a customer panel, the footer, or after completing a form. Users perceive them as a natural part of the site, without disruptive pop-ups or widgets. The survey automatically adjusts to the surrounding content and layout, making it feel seamless and non-intrusive—even to the point that respondents may not realize it's a separate element.
When to use:
When you want to collect feedback in direct context of specific content or functionality (e.g. after reading an article, completing a purchase, updating personal information).
In situations where the visual layout of the page naturally supports a “permanent” survey placement (e.g. within a feedback module).
When you need full control over the placement and presentation of the survey.
Advantages:
Seamless integration with the page layout – does not interrupt the visit or distract attention.
High user trust – perceived as part of the page, not an ad or intrusive pop-up.
Possibility to embed multiple surveys tailored to different contexts.
Tips:
Place the iframe in locations that users are very likely to see.
Ensure responsiveness – verify that the iframe adjusts properly to the width of the user’s device. If it doesn’t, adjust the layout settings.
Embedded surveys can also use triggering conditions. If the survey doesn’t appear, check if the display conditions are met.
Expect lower conversion rates. This is primarily a solution for quantitative, not qualitative, feedback collection.
