Questions

Questions are the fundamental building blocks of any survey, enabling you to collect information from respondents in a way that serves your research objectives. Questions can vary in format, appearance, behavior and configuration.

The YourCX platform provides a suite of tools for efficient question management within your survey. Core features include:

  1. Adding new questions at the beginning, end or anywhere in the middle of your survey

  2. Editing questions at any time—even while the survey is live—you can change the question text, response type, scale (if applicable) and other settings (e.g. make a question mandatory)

  3. Hiding questions to temporarily remove them from view without permanently deleting them from the survey

  4. Assigning to groups so that you can organize questions into logical clusters, which is especially helpful for longer questionnaires

  5. Copying questions to duplicate an existing item—this significantly speeds up creation of similar questions based on an existing template

  6. Moving questions to any other position within the survey

  7. Deleting questions in a way that allows you to restore them later if needed
