External Data Sources

The YourCX platform allows not only the enrichment of survey results with additional data from external sources but also the full import of responses from external surveys. This makes it possible to analyze customer feedback and research results from various channels and systems in one place, providing a more comprehensive view.

What Are External Data Sources?
External data sources refer to any information originating outside of surveys conducted within YourCX. These may include:

  • Additional data linked to survey responses (e.g., order status, customer segment)

  • Entire surveys conducted on other platforms (e.g., client’s in-house tools or third-party survey platforms)

  • External review systems, such as Google Maps reviews

Using External Data in YourCX

1.Enhancing Survey Responses
You can attach additional contextual data to responses collected via YourCX, such as:

  • Product delivery address

  • Any travel-related data based on a reservation number

  • Any other business-relevant data that supports more effective analysis

2.Importing Survey Results from Other Sources
YourCX supports importing complete sets of responses from external surveys. The data can come from:

  • The client’s own research tools

  • Other survey platforms

  • CRM or call center systems

3. Importing Customer Feedback for AI Analysis
YourCX can also serve as a central hub for processing customer statements collected elsewhere. It allows for fast analysis of emotions and sentiment, as well as transcription of audio recordings for text-based insights.

4. Analyzing and Managing Google Maps Reviews
YourCX enables the collection and analysis of Google Maps reviews, both for your own stores and your competitors. These reviews can be analyzed and reported at any desired level of detail.

Imported responses are assigned to the appropriate research project within YourCX and can be segmented, analyzed, and reported together with all other data.

How to Provide External Data

  • Automatically – via API integration.

  • Manually – by importing CSV or Excel files directly into the YourCX panel.

When importing responses, the data must follow a specific format to ensure reporting consistency. However, the import tool is flexible and will immediately highlight any issues and suggest corrections if needed.
