Surveys Triggered via URL

For surveys sent to users via email or SMS (e.g., after completing a purchase or customer service interaction), segment data can be passed as parameters within the survey link.

The structure of a YourCX link allows for adding variables in the following format:

https://surveys.yourcx.io/s/SURVEYID/parameter1/value1/parameter2/value2/

Example:

https://surveys.yourcx.io/s/1900be18bd0b818b7ac07/clientID/12345/orderID/98765/

Such a link enables:

  • Identification of the user, order, or sales channel

  • Automatic assignment of responses to the correct segment in analysis

  • Running surveys tied to a specific transaction or campaign

Note:
If you want respondents to complete the survey only once, ensure each respondent receives a unique link with personalized values (e.g., generated via a CRM or email platform).

Parameters can also be passed using a query string format.
