Surveys in Mobile Applications
For surveys launched within mobile apps (using the SDK for Android or iOS), user data or contextual app information can be passed at the moment the survey invitation is displayed.
Typically, this includes technical or segmentation data such as:
User ID / Session ID
Customer type or account level (e.g., silver/gold)
Entry channel (e.g., push notification, banking app, in-app landing)
Triggering action (e.g., completed purchase)
Surveys Triggered via the YourCX SDK Automatically Collect Data Such As:
App version / operating system
Screens visited during the session
This data is passed to the YourCX SDK during survey initialization or via appropriate methods — refer to the installation guide for mobile app surveys using the SDK.
Surveys in mobile apps can also be embedded manually using a public survey link.
