On-Site Journey Paths

The Journey Paths module in the YourCX platform enables the analysis of a user’s step-by-step activity during a website visit. The data is collected automatically based on browser activity and current session behavior, allowing you to track:

  • the sequence of pages visited (step-by-step),

  • the length of user journeys (number of steps),

  • the depth of site engagement (time spent, number of transitions),

  • the frequency of specific navigation patterns.

Various analysis modes are available:

  • From entry point – tracks the journey starting from the user's entry page.

  • From exit point – focuses on the sequence leading to the final step (e.g., purchase or site exit).

  • Between two nodes – analyzes the path between any two selected pages.

  • Through a node – displays all journeys that pass through a specific navigation point.

It is also possible to aggregate data by:

  • Full URL address,

  • Page type (e.g., product page, category page, checkout),

  • Subpage type (e.g., homepage, search results).

With advanced filtering and grouping features, the system enables in-depth analysis of user flows, including:

  • Identifying popular or problematic paths,

  • Analyzing cart abandonment at different stages of the purchase funnel,

  • Evaluating how effectively different types of pages guide users toward conversion,

  • Tracking in-session conversion paths and assessing the impact of user experiences and feedback on sales.

YourCX also stores data about previous visits using anonymous identifiers (unless deleted by the user), allowing analysis of multi-visit journeys—such as how a prior session looked and whether it eventually led to a conversion.
